Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry, with a preference for experience in Gulf countries, particularly Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and components used in construction projects.
- Proven experience in leading and managing mechanical engineering teams, with excellent leadership and managerial skills.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing mechanical systems in construction projects, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.
Responsiblities:
- Follow and control the mechanical team works.
- Review the mechanical team output against the project requirements.
- Revise all submission to ensure the avoidance of any scope creep in design.
- Coordinate with the related teams internally and externally.
- Attend the meetings with clients and suppliers to discuss any submissions.
- Coordinate the work priorities to match the project needs.
- Audit the submissions quality to match the project requirements.
- Participate in the pricing process for pricing or any specific tasks.
