Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project controls within the construction industry, with a strong preference for experience in Gulf countries, particularly Saudi Arabia.
- Proven track record of managing project control activities for large-scale construction projects, including scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
- Expertise in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- In-depth understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex project data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Leadership and managerial experience, with the ability to mentor and lead a team of project control professionals.
- Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and standards related to construction projects in Saudi Arabia.
- Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning and cost control teams across the technical office and projects as well.
- Perform the value engineering analysis for the project in all levels.
- Follow the commercial requirements for the projects.
- Control any delays to be rectified and claimed for the Employer if possible.
- Control the projects’ scope to be followed strictly without any deviations.
- Coordinate with the financial team for any commercial bonds and related requirements.
- Arrange the needed insurances issuance and maintaining.
- Audit all planning and cost controlling processes to prevent any deviations or mistakes.
- Prepare the high-level cost reports for all projects.
